My approach to training is simple: strength should make your life easier, not hurt it. I’m deeply passionate about helping people move, train, and live pain-free — especially those who feel like their body has been “holding them back” due to past injuries, setbacks, or years of being told to slow down.
I specialize in strength training that’s intentional, sustainable, and built for longevity. A lot of my work lives in that in-between space: helping clients rebuild confidence in their bodies after injury, during rehab, or once formal physical therapy ends. I believe smart strength training is one of the most powerful tools for staying active, capable, and out of pain long-term.
Just as important as the physical work is the relationship. I care deeply about connecting with clients, understanding their goals, and building trust — because real progress doesn’t happen without it. Training should challenge you, yes, but it should also support your mental health, confidence, and belief in what you’re capable of.
At Commit, Erica and I built the gym around those same values: great coaching, thoughtful programming, and a culture that meets people where they are while still pushing them forward. I believe the best coaches motivate, educate, and empower clients both inside and outside of the gym — and that consistency, not extremes, is what creates lasting change.
I was born and raised in North Dakota and moved to Colorado in 2014, where I eventually met my wife and business partner, Erica. Outside the gym, you’ll usually find me watching Colorado sports, snowboarding, traveling, or spending time with family and friends. If you’re looking to get stronger without beating your body up in the process, you’re in the right place.
